17 February 2023 – Makassar, South Sulawesi
The Tsinghua Southeast Asia Center (TSEA) participated in the Indonesian Planning School Association (ASPI) Gathering held on February 17, 2023, in Makassar, South Sulawesi. The event brought together 135 participants from various universities and planning institutions across Indonesia, creating a valuable forum for academic exchange, collaboration, and future partnership development.
TSEA’s participation in the ASPI Gathering served a dual purpose — to promote the Happy Digital X (HDX) 2.0 Program and to strengthen networks with ASPI and its members. Through this engagement, TSEA aimed to introduce the vision and objectives of HDX 2.0, a program designed to empower leaders and professionals with the skills and mindset needed to drive digital transformation for a sustainable and inclusive future.
By connecting with planning educators and experts from across Indonesia, the event opened up new opportunities for collaborative initiatives in education, research, and innovation. It also reinforced TSEA’s commitment to working closely with academic and professional communities to support sustainable development goals and digital capacity building in the region.
The ASPI Gathering proved to be an important step in expanding TSEA’s partnerships within Indonesia, paving the way for future collaboration not only in the HDX Program but also in broader initiatives that foster innovation, sustainability, and human-centered digital progress.
