The Jakarta Education Lounge held on October 7, 2023, at the UID Learning Hub in Central Jakarta was a collaborative initiative led by the Singapore Education Network (SEN), Bisalah.id, and the Tsinghua Southeast Asia Center (TSEA). The event, themed “How is The Education System Keeping Up With The Accelerating World?” aimed to foster discussion, networking, and collaboration among key stakeholders in Indonesia’s education sector.
With 35 participants, including notable figures such as Dr. Adi Adinugroho-Horstman and representatives from Indigo Telkom and Gojek, the panel discussion moderated by Eunice Budihardjo, founder of Bisalah.id, explored diverse perspectives. The event successfully achieved its objectives of providing a platform for education professionals to network, build partnerships, and contribute to the ongoing dialogue about reshaping Indonesia’s education trajectory. The guided networking session facilitated further connections, making the Jakarta Education Lounge a dynamic forum for meaningful exchange and collaboration.
