The Tsinghua Southeast Asia Center (Tsinghua SEA) in Serangan, Bali, hosted the Bali Education Lounge: July 2025, a panel discussion and networking forum that brought together key stakeholders from education, technology, government, and industry across the region. The event was a collaborative initiative by the Singapore Education Network (SEN), Parchment, United in Diversity (UID), and TSEA, aimed at advancing education transformation through digital innovation.
With the theme “Digitalising the Academic Journey: A Comprehensive Look at Learning, Assessment, and Recognition”, the forum explored how technology is reshaping the academic landscape—from learning and assessment to the recognition of credentials. Panelists from leading institutions, including Parchment, the Bali Department of Education, and Udayana University, shared their insights and strategies for navigating the digital shift in education.
The discussion covered how institutions can leverage technology to enhance student learning, the value of digital assessment for personalization and academic integrity, and the importance of digital credentials in enabling global mobility. Other critical topics included system security, interoperability, and overcoming regional challenges in Southeast Asia through collaboration and innovation.
The event concluded with a dinner and networking session, providing a valuable opportunity for participants to connect and explore future partnerships. The Bali Education Lounge served as a meaningful platform to foster inclusive, adaptable, and digitally integrated education for a rapidly changing world.
