Tsinghua University’s “International Executive Management Certificate for Business Leaders” Held in Bali, Focusing on Global Leadership
Tsinghua University, through its School of Continuing Education in collaboration with the Tsinghua Southeast Asia Center, successfully held the International Executive Management Certificate Program for Business Leaders from 01-03 August 2025 at the Tsinghua Southeast Asia Center, Bali. This intensive program was designed to strengthen the strategic capabilities of business leaders navigating the increasingly complex global landscape, bringing together scholars and alumni of Tsinghua University.
The first day of the program opened with a session on “Project Value Delivery” led by Yang Shu, Deputy Dean of the Tsinghua University International Engineering Management Research Institute. This was followed by “Strategic Talent Management under New Globalization,” delivered by Shen Qunhong, Associate Professor at the School of Public Policy and Management. The session highlighted the critical importance of strategic talent management in the era of new globalization.
On the second day, Yang Shu returned with “Project Management for Decision Makers,” equipping participants with project-based decision-making strategies. Participants also engaged in a Campus Tour and Island Tour around the Kura Kura Bali Special Economic Zone (SEZ), offering a contextual learning experience. The day concluded with a session on “Organizational Behaviour and Leadership” led by Chen Xiaogeng, Deputy Dean of the School of Continuing Education.
The final day focused on “Organizational Performance Improvement and Innovative Development,” presented by Shen Qunhong. The discussion offered deep insights into organizational transformation through performance enhancement and innovation. Combining academic rigor with practical application, this program reinforces Tsinghua University’s position as a global leader in executive education.
