On September 23, 2023, the webinar entitled “Innovation Driven Ecosystem in Tourism ‘Rethink How We Do Tourism’” was hosted online by TSEA and Politeknik International Bali. The event targeted tourism and hospitality professionals, educators, and students and was attended by 106 individuals.
The webinar focused on understanding the latest challenges and current developments in the tourism industry, notably in terms of sustainability and technology & innovation. The five keynote speakers of the event included H.E. Inc: “Innovative trends shaping the international tourism landscape,” Fransiska Handoko, CHA., CHIA., CHRM., GM Risata Bali Resort and Spa & Chair of BHA: “International Tourism Business to Embraced Innovation,” and Dr. Justin Matthew Pang, D.HTM, MHA, MBA, CHA, GMP, SFHEA Lecturer Tourism and Hospitality Management, The Business School, RMIT University Vietnam: “The future trajectory of tourism amidst ongoing innovation.”
