24 March 2025 – Tsinghua SEA, Bali

The Schwarzman Scholarship Info Session was held on March 24, 2025, at the Tsinghua Southeast Asia Center (TSEA), as a collaborative event between Schwarzman College, TSEA, United in Diversity Foundation, and the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN). The session introduced the Schwarzman Scholars program, a fully funded master’s scholarship at Tsinghua University, to 28 attended participants, including final-year undergraduate students and faculty staff from universities in Bali. The event aimed to raise awareness of the program, encourage applications from high-potential candidates, and foster networking opportunities for those interested in global leadership and international education. Key speakers included Thomas Tomezko, Selection and Outreach Officer for Schwarzman Scholars, and Hans Sebastian, a Schwarzman Scholars alumnus, who provided insights into the program’s benefits, eligibility criteria, and application process. The event successfully increased awareness of the scholarship, clarified the application process for attendees, and strengthened connections between TSEA, Schwarzman Scholars, and local talents in Bali. The session concluded with a networking opportunity, allowing participants to engage with speakers and explore potential academic prospects through the Schwarzman Scholars program.
