Held on March 20, 2025, at the Tsinghua Southeast Asia Center, the TSEA Talk: How Social Entrepreneurs Use Digital Transformation for Good brought together experts, entrepreneurs, and policymakers to discuss the role of technology in driving social impact. Organized by Tsinghua Southeast Asia Center (TSEA) as part of the Happy Digital X (HDX) program roadshow, the event highlighted how digital tools can be leveraged to create sustainable solutions. Speakers Tanguy Yu (General Manager of Astungkara Way) and Shobi Lawalata (Director of Learning Programs, UID Foundation) shared real-world examples of how digital transformation supports social enterprises, community-driven initiatives, and environmental sustainability. The session encouraged interactive discussions, with participants exploring best practices and challenges in adopting technology for social good. Attended by over 50 participants from academia, government, the private sector, and digital innovation spaces, the event successfully fostered knowledge exchange and networking opportunities.
